This lovely picnic basket was a great vintage find!  It was painted an heirloom white and covered with the loveliest blue china and stained glass tiles.  The inside was lined with a blue fabric with white polka dots and then I could not resist adding white with blue polka dot vinyl wall paper to the inside of the lid.  It measures 14" X 12" and has a depth of 6".  The grout has been completely sealed so don't worry about spilling that red wine, on second thought, I guess I wouldn't want to put it to that much of a test, but will repel most dirt.  I see this on a lovely cottage patio or a the finishing touch to a romantic sun porch.
